Does anyone have any recent experience on contract work for KAL?

I'd really appreciate any and all info.

Interview
I interviewed there in the past few years, and didn't take the job. Keep in mind this is a good company and they fly new aircraft, but they treat foreign ex-pats like the 'hired help'. Your contract can be cancelled at any time and you can be let go. There are no guarantees, and the locals are treated much better.

The pay is good, not great, and commuting is possible, under some leasing companies. But, do your homework and most importantly, speak to any ex-pat pilot for KAL you can while you're in ICN, and ask them about current conditions.

The interview is one day medical, comprehensive; second day, sim eval, easy, in the aircraft you're interviewing for; last day, board interview. They've made up their mind before you get there.

First class sleeper seat both ways to ICN, nice hotel while there, and food provided. Worth the interview, but not a long-term career.
