Not sure if this is the correct forum but welcome input. I flew a Falcon 10 a few years ago and used tradition Bose headsets with success. I made a trip in the Falcon 900 using Lightweight "jet" headsets and had some issues with hearing. The volume was plenty loud but airframe or wind noise seemed to mix with it.

My main airplane currently is single pilot operated Kingair so I like very good communications. I'm using Bose with high quality intercom install and great results.

Thoughts? Maybe wrong type of jet headsets?

Probably Telex 750s, try the ANR Telex 850s.
