I thought I knew this but.... is it true that an overlap or conflict of one reserve group of days in Jan going into Feb's group of reserve days will NOT drop the Feb's reserve duty days due to the conflict??

Does that make sense?

That’s right, I’m pretty sure they just combine them. I think the max is 6 reserve days.

It's too late now, but during overlap correction, if you do not want a 5 or 6 day block of reserve, you can call and ask for a RON in the current month to break up the block into two separate reserve blocks. i.e. a 2-day this month and a 4-day next. etc.

Ya, lesson learned.

I had mistakenly thought the 4 day reserve block in the beginning of Feb would be totally dropped.... like a regular trip conflict kind of thing but evidently not! :-(

If you do end up with a six day block like that, you can call Scheduling and have one of the days set to non-RON. Or make a two day block, day off, then four day block. See 5.I.2.12 of the contract.
