Always been happy with their uniform clothing.

Jut curious if anyone had any particular opinions between the men's Tropical vs. Sharkskin pants?

I prefer the sharkskin over the tropical personally. The sharkskin are a little heavier and seemed a little better made IMO. I think they have a higher wool content. Be advised though they run small for size. I normall wear a 33 or 34 but had to get a 35 in these, and they’re still snug.

thanks sky!

Did the sharkskin have the rubberized waist band that keeps the shirt from sliding?

Kohles, JC Penny, Target ... If you can match the color (I never had a problem) you get better quality at half the price ... For me quality was the issue with M&H

Sharkskin is heavy enough for me to find annoying, so I save it for northerly trips in the winter.

Quality was great. I would own six pair and rotate them through the dry cleaners, they would last for many years. They probably don't last as long if you wash them at home. Only issue I had was a dry-cleaner I used for a while must have been using some illegal toxic chemical because it turned the rubber waistbands into goo which would then ruin shirts. I got new pants and a new dry-cleaner and never had any further problems.

That said, since the pants lasted long, I haven't bought any new ones in years, so I can't speak for today's quality.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing, tropical in the summer and sharkskin in the winter. Appreciate the feedback.

Those parts aren't bad if you prefer the vintage wide leg style pants. Personally, I pass on the baggy look and wear acutabove pants.

I prefer the heavier fabric of the sharkskin pants, even in warmer weather.
