Can a GV CA with no contact get an interview?

Self explanatory. Helping out a friend and I know nothing of Fedex's process or typical civilian hiring demographics. Thanks.

Yup, exactly what happened for me.

Why wouldn't they be able to get an interview if they meet all of the stated Flight Time / PIC requirements? What do they have to lose applying?

Good luck. Please let us know how the story ends ...

Thanks for replies. I'm trying to get a feel for the percentages. IE at Delta the odds would be very small since we hire practically all military or RJ/Other airline guys. Corp guys here few and far between.

I’ve worked with several former Corp new hires lately. Most are coming from a good Corp depts that operate from Citation Excels, Citation X, GIV-GVI, Falcon 900-2000, etc... The only real segment that I haven’t seen much of is the single pilot small Corp pilot (King Air, CJet, etc..,)
I’d say he’s got good odds as anyone. The percentage is smaller simply based on less Corp pilots and many are happy (don’t want to leave to take a 1yr paycut). Also lots of new hires with no recommendations or contacts. He should try to come to the job fair.

3 corporate guys in my class last year FYI. I think all of them flew gulfstreams. All did great. Contrary to the other thread my class was majority military.

My interview group had two corporate and one NetJets out of 12 total guys. Unfortunately, none of them were hired.
