Lots of claims...any thoughts?!
Surely wouldn't try to go WEEKS, but even a couple days with a wash in the sink in a pinch would be great.

Might be nice to pack a few less items on a 2-3 week trip...pack about a weeks worth now, wash weekly, but if stuff can go even 3 days, would make life simpler.

Morino wool has been absolutely amazing for multiday outdoor pursuits that don't involve showering.

But without a shower, you will smell like a Merino.

I've become a snob somewhat on Merino wool undies and socks. There have several times I have had to go 2-4 days without fresh socks or undies and have been thoroughly impressed in how good they are. Obviously it isn't ideal but when you're in the back country they are a game changer for me. I've found that Darn Tough socks don't stink and won't get crusty and I've been really happy with Duluth trading co and first lite options on merino. I use them both for everyday work in Alaska flying 135 as well as for hunting.

Great for outdoors, but not a substitute for industry-standard hygiene practices in a professional work environment.

Yeah, this. Hey, I'm not overly obsessed with bathing, I've worked jobs under primitive conditions in remote locations where you really didn't have the opportunity to shower for days or weeks. That's fine as long as there's a reason for it and everyone's on the same program. Back in civilization, nobody wants to share a close confined space with someone who doesn't change clothes for days at a time because they think it's more important to pack light.

Wash them in the hotel sink, hang em up to dry, and they are ready to wear the next morning.

I used to go on 2-3 week jaunts all the time. I always packed pretty much the same—7 days then on a off day send the dirty stuff to the hotel laundry service and expense it.

That's the typical plan...
But I was thinking...
It's pretty hard to keep a gym outfit that doesn't aquire a certain funk to use on the nightly jaunt on the treadmill...
The newer style t-shirts, socks and underwear seem to be more like regular stuff, and might be useful for this stuff, let's face it, packing more than one extra work-out outfit is impossible in a typical roller bag if you have 7 shirts, etc in it too.
Gotta love how if you leave a question on these forums slightly open to interpretation, people go there...

But people tend to go there on the internet pretty quick, lol, cause, well, it's the internet.
