I am all about quality of life and Breeze offering the CHS base makes it the only airline with a base close enough to me where I could also potentially upgrade to captain quickly. I currently don’t know much about Breeze so I have a few questions…

1. How quickly/easily could I hold CHS as an FO?

2. How much flying could I expect to do there per month?

3. How quick could I upgrade to Captain?

4. What QOL things should I know about Breeze.

Also, my long term goal is AA so I’m looking to really grind until I have 1000 hrs (or less) of 121 PIC then go over to AA as quickly as they accept me.
Sent you a PM.

Advice: All the questions will be based on our core values. Learn what they are, and expect a tmat questions based on them. i.e. " tell me about a time where Kindness came into play when you gave back to the community." etc.

Answer in a STAR format.

Also, be prepared to answer why you've chosen to apply and work at Breeze? Is it David Neeleman? Is it the culture? what is the reason or reasons?...

Pro tip: your answers will be better received if you talk about your service to others and how they benefited from your actions instead of how you benefited from them.

The face to face was pretty easy going. They’re hiring mostly on personality. The interviewers are highly experienced, they’re looking for people that really want to be here. You’ll be asked about the core values. There’s one or two questions that really force you to think deep, I had to modify the response because I couldn’t exactly answer it how they asked it but like it was said above, it all comes back to helping others. Good luck!

Saw a Breeze A220 on the KCLT Wilson Air Center ramp today, was really neat to see it in person, if only taxying by. Such a nice looking jet, especially in Breeze colors.

I found the interview quite pleasant. 2 nice guys who asked straight forward stuff. Got the CJO for DEC on the A220, but held off on accepting it due to unknowns about QOL and ability to commute from KCLT to KCHS. I am still excited and interested in the opportunity to go back to 121 and have hard days off so perhaps I might re-apply later this year if more info about trips and ability to commute to whatever bases start to materialize is known.

One thing they are big on recently is making sure you ask your interviewers preferred pronouns before you start.

just be advised, they are done with DEC on the 220, so you would be hired as an Fo in the future.

when did you interview and how long did you have to wait for the CJO?
