When is the union vote? It really makes me laugh watching all the finance news channels praise the "Airline Genius" David Neeleman. He really used the environment to his advantage. Pilot shortage, Age 65, retirements, cost of training, and our economy will prove Neeleman only was successful because he took advantage of past working conditions.

Breeze didn’t want to pay extra for glass A220’s…so they are all steam gauge.

Please brush up on timed NDB approaches…the instructors are great but will not help you much more.

and please please please don’t forget the service area for a high powered VOR. That is something very important to know in the interview.

Thanks Halon. You forgot to mention we were voted the number 2 Domestic Airline in Travel Leisure. Only one point behind Hawaiian. And many points ahead of the Legacies, SWA and all the rest.

Not bad for a bunch of NDBing, VORing, fast taxiing sunz-a-gunz, eh?

✌️

Default Training Questions

Hello, I just got a CJO, just have a couple of questions.

How successful is the training department? I'm coming from a CFI job with no jet experience and was interested in the quality of training.

Are new hire classes being assigned to both airframes or exclusively to the Ejet or the A220?

How far out have people been receiving class dates after getting their CJO?

Thanks yall

Training is definitely not geared towards low timers, it’s basically recurrent standards. Unless you study all day, if you have no experience, you’re not going to understand much other than how to pass the oral. They’re giving out more sim sessions but it’s not by much. If you study and don’t expect them to hold your hand then it’s doable.

They hired you with a CFI background and zero turbine experience?
