They might be hesitant to say, now that there are positions CONUS with similar pay and the ability to sleep with the wife, at night. I came home just about 2 years ago, and I'm almost making what I made downrange, and I'm home almost every night. Things sure are different, now.

That's kind of what I was wondering. Are they staying competitive in this quickly changing market, or are they paying the same as 2-5yrs ago and just lowering their requirements.
