Harassment in the Cockpit

Has anyone here ever had to sue their employer over a harassment issue (Captain harassing FO)? I am trying to find an attorney that already knows what a line check is without explaining all of that.
Thanks in advance.

Careful...

The payout had better be worth it.

If you go on record as suing an employer it may become very hard to get a job. I would not hire anyone with such a record... right or wrong, I'm not taking a chance that I would be next.

For your career, it may be better to just find another job.

Unfortunately there are still A-holes out there and unfortunately they are in positions of power such as LCA or Chief Pilot.
Sometimes you need to walk away to fight another day, figuratively or literally.

I don't know your situation but you asked a question.

There's a member here who calls himself "Huck". He's got a law degree.

Do a search.
Good luck.

I’m reading into your post you failed a line check?
Without corroborating witnesses that will be close to impossible to win.

15 Years, 7000 Hours, 30+ checkrides an ATP and 5 type ratings since I failed anything. Never been violated or investigated. Captain wont follow procedures, breaks the law and when I bring it up he cusses at me and berates me for bringing it up.

He is no stranger to management for exactly this. I have complained in writing to management however he is friends with an upper manager and that's how he skates by.

Insist on copies of the CVR. Especially if the behavior is egregious.
