In search of a cheap commuter hotel in Denver for a buddy. Any leads or suggestions I can pass on?

I'd also like to know...for a friend. Do any of those on Tower Rd offer crew rates? Bonus...how about shuttles to the Kroger or Walmart?

I picked up an AM in DEN a couple of months ago and needed a hotel for the night before. Cheapest crew rates around Tower were in the $150 and up plus tax. I ended up getting something 45 min van ride south on Hotwire for $75 out the door. I remember a few years ago, those Tower hotels had $30 crew rates...not anymore!

Try the Comfort Inn on Tower Road. Ask for Todd, he’ll hook you up.

Been a while, but Microtel on tower road was around 80 if you called the desk.
