If you value your life and your pilot certificate. Stay far away from this place! Do your family and freinds a favor and find a job somewhere else. Absolutly the worst most un-ethical group of people I have ever had the displeasure to be involved with. I have been a freight pilot for 10 years and I have never seen anything that even comes close to the incompatants that runs rampent at this company. There are some good people (pilots) working there cause they lost there jobs at UAL,NWA,TWA........ Quick 74 upgrade too. But It is not worth it. Worst year of my life. This place will suffer a similar fate as Emery. I just hope I don't have to go to another freinds funeral.

Just one guys opinion.

Not that bad, not great either. Scheduling is worse than ever. You don't have to fly broke airplanes that what a pen is for.

The "new" Kalitta. Hmmmmm lets see. Same people, same mant. same gitmo mantality. The moto is "just go"! The only change I see here is the name. Oh ya they average aroung 35 engine failures/ shotdowns a year out of 16 airplanes and the three engine ferry cert. is in jeoperdy. So much **** whent wrong all the time I don't see why you should even have to go to the sim for recurrent.

The pen is to write up the discrepancy in the logbook so mx has to do something about it.

Yep and what mx control will do is tell the ride on to pencil whip the airplane or better yet, don't even speak to the crew about the condition of the aircraft or you can just go home and find another job.
