If you had 14 hours in Xiamen, what would (could) you do to fill that time?

Seems a waste to rent a hotel room. Seems crazy to aimlessly wander the airport.

Bring a smog mask? Just a guess, as I’ve never visited. Do leave the airport though. Hotel would be good, if it’s in the budget. If you want a nap or a place to stash bags. Find a nice bakery for breakfast and get an egg tart or bun! That’s how I’d start out if it was me.
