Another new guy question here. I'm looking at going to WAI in March, as the website makes it sound like several of my target companies are there. Once registered, is there typically a way to sign up for time slots with companies, or do you typically just wander the floor?

I'm in the same boat. AA has time slots. Go to the AA page here on the site and there is a thread called, WIA 2022 and scroll through the conversations. Someone posted a link to a Evite page to sign up.
