Quote: Where in your UPT class do you have to graduate if you are going straight to a guard unit? Say you were going to fly F-16's at....for $hits and giggles...Ft. Wayne. Would you need to graduate at the top or anywhere...including the bottom?
I was a distinguished graduate of my UPT class. Fighter track guard and reserve pilots need to be in at least the top half of their class to continue, otherwise we find them a heavy unit. Happens all the time.
Thanks for asking.

Sure you were bro.

Whoopity do and good for you!

Can I touch your flight suit?

Thanks for serving (and you're welcome for our taxpayer dollars funding your multi-million dollar career).

Still wouldn't want to sit in a cockpit with you for a week and watch you hamfist an approach to 200 & 1/2.

As in kick off the autopilot and flare? Yup. Whew. Real difficult.

Their Application page says to add the .3 / 18 mins per sortie

Exhibit A of why you must be a real peach in the cockpit.

I stand corrected. When I applied in June I used no conversion.....

I know who this dude is....and you're right, he was not all that welcomed in the cockpit. His departure was welcomed. I am sure he has taken that persona with him.

I bet he wears his flight suit to local bars and has a copy of his "DG" certificate with him.

Video of a typical day with this dude.

My life does not include going to former employers threads...bro. But, whatever makes you feel better about yours. Again, pretty sad really.

"Honey, check this out. So I am on the NJA thread on APC and totally owning these dudes. I am soooo much better than them. Check this out...total burn on this guy. Honey...did you know I am a fighter pilot? Oh yea...I tell you and everyone I meet every day. My bad. Hey kids...Daddy is a fighter pilot...did you know that?" "Yes dad...it says it on your license plate on your 1986 Ninja." "Dad, can I borrow your flight jacket?" "NO! You leave it behind the protective glass next to my ejection seat office chair and framed Distinguished Graduate Certificate!" "Honey, did you press my flight scarf? Me and the boys are playing cards tonight and you know I cannot leave the house without it." "Yes honey I did. Its next to your RayBan Aviators and grossly oversized watch." "Thanks honey...you are the Charlie to my Maverick." "Tonight, when I get home, we are totally gonna watch Iron Eagle I, II, III."
