I’m in the Jan 3 class and looking for ATL as soon as possible too. If ATL isn’t an option right out of the gate, does anybody have thoughts about the next-best option(s)? Would be commuting from ATL and looking to spend the least amount of time on RSV. I can look at flights per day to help rank bases for commuting; really interested in time on RSV at different bases? Thanks for all the help!

I was in the June class and I would be the most junior ATL FO currently. But since it’s still growing you may be able to hold it quicker. Or it may take longer since some have held off bidding it to see how it all shakes out. Difficult to say.

If you want off of reserve quickly a Florida base is your best bet.

Remember ATL isn’t even open yet. You’ll spend a little time in MIA or TPA and should be able to hold ATL by the Summer if I had to guess.

You will be in ATL before you're off reserve at another base. (...almost guaranteed)

ATL is still a year 2 base, it might change when the results for the current bid come out, but we'll see. It depends on if they keep adding to it every bid.
