I’m retiring from active duty military and am around 2800 hours total (most of it multi-engine turbine) with around 1100 hours PIC (again multi-engine turbine) and greater than 100 hours in the last year. I’m updating airline apps on a daily basis and I am working on letters of recommendations at this time with 1 uploaded so far.

From reviewing here the classes are around 40 people like once a month. Frontier does not appear to be in a hiring frenzy the way the other airlines are but Frontier is hiring right now. I live in Atlanta now so I’d hopefully like to start out there since the domicile is opening up in February. Thanks for any advice.

Those are competitive figures. I'd recommend attending NGPA in Feb if thats an option and you don't have a call by then. I met Frontier at RTAG in Oct and got the thumbs up, took a couple months but got the ball rolling and in the process now with less hours.

Are these fixed wing or rotary wing hours? If they’re rotary wing hours, I recommend a regional. If they’re fixed wing hours, they’re competitive.

unless you’re intimately familiar (like in the CP office) with Frontier’s current hiring practices, I’d refrain from commenting.

I’ve got the time but can’t get a damn interview. Anyone know how to get thru the fray and get an interview?

After the last two weeks, you’ll get an interview before you know it.

Yah… involuntarily displacing 150 pilots while you are “growing” is probably not a good move for retention. Give it a month and I bet they come begging

These are fixed wing hours. I’ve looked at the various regionals too as a backup option if necessary but fortunately I have a bit of time to wait.
