Since you already hold an RATP you should be eligible. You may be right about the computer hiding the app though. Hopefully the recruiting folks can locate your app and forward it on once you meet with them. Good luck!

Make a little extra. Open time is so limited because everyone is making that extra if able.

Depends on the domicile but, open time is currently the garbage nobody wants. If you're okay doing a 10hr three day redeye trip then sure, there is money to be made.

Absolutely you can make more than minimum guarantee without trying very hard. The stuff that SITS there in open time is generally inefficient red eyes. But it's not hard to pick up a couple of decent trips per month when they drop into open time. Of course, premium trips (150%) are extremely difficult to get. But you don't need those to pad your paycheck.

Buddy on a FDO line (fixed day off, where you get a block of either 18 on/12 off, or 9 on/12 off/9 on; long call reserve days) picks up stuff on his days off. It sounds like premium OT is essentially non existent. OT is there, like other say, but not necessarily great. Also people post their own trips for someone to pick up. I don’t consider that Open Time, but some people use the term interchangeably.

Anyway out here on the west coast, lots of 10hr 2 day redeyes going east. So if you’re making guarantee and pick up 2 of those on days off (open time, or someone posts for pickup), that’s 95 hours.

Same here on the east coast.... Pretty sure at one point the only OT was a bunch of 3 day redeye PHX overnights that paid 11hrs credit.

Interviewed recently and was placed in the “hiring pool”. I understand there are delivery delays with Airbus and that they are going from 50-60 a class to 20-30.

Has anyone placed in the pool and gotten a class date recently?

Recently a friend said his friend got the cjo and was told classes are full through may. I don’t know their interview date but he said it was February. Sounds like they are still giving CJOs on the spot then sending you an email a week or two later. That will have the specifics but I would expect mid summer.
