Anybody know if the ALPA basic safety school course is restricted to major airlines or if ALPA regionals can send people too?

It's been over a decade since I went but there was pretty broad representation at that time. Contact your Central Air Safety Chair and your LEC reps and let know you want to go.

I attended in spring '98, and half the pilots there----and 2 of the instructors---were regional pilots. Contact your MEC and ask your reps to sign you up. If you're interested in serving your fellow pilots, this course will get you started.
