I will have a “qualifying event” around June and will be able to start a FSA contribution. I’ve incurred expenses prior to June which are eligible as FSA eligible expenses. My question is; can I start FSA contributions in June and get reimbursed with some tax free $ I contributed in June and beyond?

No. They'll only let you cover expenses incurred after enrollment.
