Tisha Rowe, a doctor from Houston, first tweeted about the incident on June 30, claiming she was "disgusted" and "humiliated" after being given the option to "cover up" or get off the flight.

"My shorts covered EVERYTHING but apparently was too distracting to enter the plane," she tweeted. A photo of her outfit shows her wearing a strapless shirt and matching shorts. "When defending my outfit I was threatened with not getting back on the flight unless I walked down the aisle wrapped in a blanket."
Looked okay to me in the pictures, but I do see the possibility of the elastic giving up the fight.
Hate the race baiting with the article “black doctor”

Remember this one?

They didn’t need to bait it with “white girl”.

Not everything is decided on race; it could simply be they didn’t agree with the outfit; whether right or wrong, but it shouldn’t be about race

^^^^ This!!
I had a black passenger complain about a FA because she (the pax) claimed she was the only one briefed in the exit row and was therefore singled out due to her race. The thing was the pax was the last one to be seated and the exit row brief had been done.

Some people default to the race card without thinking.

More importantly- what kind of a doctor uses Twitter and if she does she’s taking to what? 5 followers?
I’m wondering if she was somehow a non rev, and that part is being left out. AA has written policy for NR attire....

the was NOT a non-rev.

AA apologized and refunded her money for the ticket.

Bad judgement on the part of the FA, for sure.

That's a weird criticism. Twitter is a common social media platform used by all kinds of people, including pilots. Are real doctors not allowed to use Twitter in your book?
