Best schools in North Carolina

Hi all,

New to the forums. I have been looking at various flight schools in the state of North Carolina. I have limited my self to a few options. I want to enroll in a Part-141 program but there are personal/familial things that may prevent that. I live in the center part of the state and am looking at a few places in the Charlotte and Raleigh areas respectively, but am open to new locations. I have heard of some schools like ATP in Concord and RDU, Blue Line Aviation in RDU, Fly Carolina and Aerowood Aviation in the Monroe/Charlotte area, Triad Aviation in Winston-Salem, and Elon Aviation in Burlington.

I was hoping someone could help me out with whatever information they have on the flight schools in North Carolina.

Thank you!

Blue Line Aviation is probably your best overall choice. They have nice equipment and have good opportunities to CFI there once you’re through training.

I’ve heard through the grapevine that Elon is a good school too.

All American Aviation in Fayetteville.

Old planes in order to keep their prices reasonable.

Part 141, and very flexible to work with your needs.
