Quote: Truth is no one in this industry is completely safe. Maybe I'm a little too optimistic though in the current state of wholly owns at AA and DL.

Also Skywest is to blame for those ASA pilots.
Blame or not. Blame is every direction for ever airline... Issues arise when someone get in at the wrong place at the wrong time.. weather 2007 OO hires. Or a 2000 comair pilot.. point is get in get out. Never let the cement around your feet dry at a regional.. heck. Even the Majors have there ups and downs.. ask any guy at a Major with over 10 years there.. it’s just part of the industry...

Quote: I have CJO's from both Skywest and PSA and I'm weighing the pros and cons of both. I'm semi familiar with PSA's travel benies for myself and my kids under 24yrs. I can't find any information on what Skywest offers. Can someone enlighten me.
Thanks
Skywest is Much lower priority on more carriers.

AA WO is highest priority on AA branded flights and then lowest priority offline domestically. Domestically there hasn’t been anywhere I’ve tried to go that I couldn’t with AA flights.

Internationally theres very few places that I’d consider going that I couldn’t get to via AA/ One World flights.

If travel benefits are what you’re deciding on I’d say go with PSA. If you live farther west than the Mississippi River, go Skywest.
