Flying Together Questions

When I view boarding totals, there are X people booked and X people positive space. Are the positive space people counted under booked, or are they in addition to. In other words, if the plane has 150 seats and there are 145 booked and 5 positive spaces, are there any open seats?

The reason I ask is that I do not see them on the standby list on the United app, but I do see them on the standby list on flying together. Is the standby list on the United app non-rev’s only, or does it include positive space and revenue standby’s? Will the standby list on flying together show when a positive space has a seat assignment?

They are included in the “booked” number.

Positive space that you see listed on standby list on FT are already included in the boarding totals. The standby list you see in the flight status section on the app includes all stbys including revenue, but nobody shows up on that list until they are checked in. So you may see them on the stby list on FT but they won’t show up on the stby list in flight status section until checked in.
