The amount of guys sticking up for "CW" on this forum, supposedly by Envoy guys, is absolutely shocking. Many of you don't know half of the story of what that guy pulled. Do you really believe that he just happened to get the rep he did while in office?

Although he didn't "hose" me, he was quite rude and arrogant towards me. I was trying to be proactive about consolidating, and it was tight being on reserve. Unfortunately, I had orders coming up I couldn't shift. I needed less than 2 hours to make it. Following the chain of command I went to him. He said something to the effect of "I don't need to help you people, and you don't deserve special treatment just being in the military.. if you have to repeat initial again that's between you and the training department."

Although technically true, I was floored since AA is generally so Mil friendly. I called the training department and they happily got me on the schedule to consolidate. He could have done that as easily as I did. It was strange. Taking care of people is really easier than trying to **** them off.

Not sure why this is even a thing, the guy was unnecessarily bad to people. He often went out of his way to prove a point and levied spiteful punishments on people for no reason. Just talk to people in contract compliance about the guy.

He didn’t earn this reputation because he was awkward, he earned it for a reason.

Well he was way awkward but he was also rude for no reason. Experienced it first hand.

Lol so you wanted him to make the phone call to training? He can’t give you flying. You talked to the wrong person. He sounds like a terrible guy. 🙄

So when you're about to expire on landings and the HI6 says contact the CPO there's no point in doing that then?

You seem to be missing the point, are defending for the sake of defending, are his personal friend or are him, not sure which. Bottom line people develop reputations for a reason and while some are not justified, this person has continually had negative interactions with the pilot group.

You notice we dont hear about our past DFW CPO being such a negative person? The CPO there wasn't a place to be afraid of nor did they go out of their way to be negative, ORD and CW certainly did. You can be a manager that carries the company line all day long, CW gave the impression he enjoyed being that way and enjoyed that the pilots feared him, that's the difference.

Anyway, it doesn't matter, he is AA's problem now and we all should just hope that he never makes it into the CPO over there, else we all suffer.

I love how all you here in the peanut gallery hide behind screen names and throw rocks at someone who was simply following policy and procedure and just doing his job.

How about you give us your full name and employee number so that we all know who you are given you are so pro company. Would be nice to know.

Secondly, this is a "discussion" forum, therefore people are going to discuss things, some good, some bad with nothing but a screen name.

Lastly, this man created this himself. There hasn't been a single time that I can remember in years that when his name is brought up in the flight deck that it isn't immediately scorned. You can call me a liar all you want, but it still doesn't make me wrong.
