I have heard that a cut above Navy pants are very similar to the company issued pants. Has anyone tried the Navy blazer from a cut above? Trying to see if it's passable or not.

Just flew with a guy who had the cut above leather citation jacket. Only around $165 compared to $395 for the company one; can't tell the difference and it looks pretty nice -I'd suggest that.
Also, have seen a few guys with the cut above pants and tie. Close enough as long as you don't wear with the company blazer as it's a slight difference.

Exactly. They’ve been through 3 different vendors in the last year and a half. None of those blues were the same.

Exactly why I don’t feel so bad for wearing my Haggar eClo Stria pants anymore....the color is very close to being correct but the texture isn’t.

Cut Above's "United Midnight Blue" matches our original M&H blazers. Don't know about the newer vendors.

Ya there are still guys wearing navy blue double breasted blazers.. it doesn't seem to matter as long as the color is darker blue and the stripes are gold.

Fair point. Guess you can get away with quite a bit. Obviously still a new guy here 😄. Thanks for the input.

Everything I wear is A Cut Above...shirts, pants, tie and blazer. No one has ever said anything to me and I can’t really tell the difference. About the only place to get uniform items that fit correctly and last.

The only problem with that is you can't use your annual uniform bank of about $200 to reimburse yourself. We used to be able to, but they took that away. Most of us prefer to just pay out of pocket to get uniforms that actually look good from a company that won't hack our credit cards (true story… many pilots got their cards stolen from the last vendor).
