Deal on hold...

Management is using the Coronavirus as a reason to postpone the latest contract deal, aka AIP. Just read our MEC Chairman's message regarding this.
Yay.

Do you think there’s a possibility that management wants this done and it’s United or one or more investors that’s holding things up?

United owns us and pulls the strings so they are “management”.

When I say "management", I don't distinguish between them. It's all inclusive. The end result is the same, no deal.
But, we have 100% CCF! Management loves our performance! So, we have that going for us...

I know we can't control what UAL does. No need to go there.

"Hey guys, great deal coming just around the corner almost there. Any day now!

JUST KIDDING!!!!!!!!!"

Pulled the rug on us at the last minute AGAIN. I was done falling for it a long time ago. Please just stop sending us the "maybe" updates from now on and wait until you have something concrete. We're all tired of being screwed around.

Yeah, kind of strange how not too long ago there was no end in sight as mgmt and the union had different views. Meetings were postponed and etc. Now all of a sudden, there's contractual gains and talk of finalizing a deal. It's either one of two things. Give em a morale booster and something to hang on too, or the company desperately needs the pilot's from TSA. I'm all for welcoming them here with open arms after what happened. Just seems that this is a repeat of when the last contract was rushed.

Well it seems like United is taking a hit with the reduced domestic schedule by 10% and international to Asia by 10%. Plus the hiring freeze. Who knows how this will trickle down to us but this could be the first sign
