LAX CRJ Reserve

Any current info on reserve times in LAX on the CRJ? I know there has been a lot of new hires getting LAX before training is over so I’m wondering how it’s changed. Also any info on FAT and DEN?

from my understanding it’s nearly impossible to figure out reserve times on SWOL—but I’ve read before someone said you can estimate holding a line once in the top 70% seniority in base, is that a reasonable estimate?

I presume you work at SkyWest. Are you familiar with the PBS bid transparency report. Just pull up LAX CRJ FO and it will show you where you'd be in the bid. You can do that for any position system wide.

I did notice that they transferred in a number of pilots into LAX. Presumably we a growing there. Check again on the 10th on the PBS section as well under bid information. It'll tell you how many targeted line holders for each seat as well as the number of reserves.

What's hard to figure sometimes is what your seniority would be because of pilots in the DMA program. Just looking at the seniority list doesn't always give a complete picture.

Yeah I work here, still in training. Just trying to get a feel for how these things work. Thanks for the info! Looking at the bid transparency report is a headache but I think I’m starting to make sense of it.
