The plan from the brain trust in the Doug-Mahal for the increase use and thinning of inventory of Sani-com wipes...yep you guessed it, it’s to ask us to use less. Pure genius! They have really cemented my trust in them that they are on top of this.
*note...I do know sani-coms are probably ineffective against the virus. But we’ve known this thing was coming 6 weeks ago, that’s plenty of time to stock up on something for your employees to make their work space somewhat safe.

Pre this corona hype I was always calling ops to run wipes out. Seemed like 30% of the planes I preflighted had zero. Anyways, today starts my first sequence back since this corona scare and I bet we dont get some for at least 1 leg.

Pretty sure that the company also said that they were seeking other vendors, have asked the current vendor to increase production, and are working other options as well.

The real problem are crew members that take them by the bag full to use in the hotel and at home. One the other day must have had 1000 in her tote bag. If that wasn't happening, we would have plenty.

Yeah, keep reading and you'd see that they said they are working on it. But that doesn't fit the narrative.

Nevermind that they are 100% ineffective at killing this virus....

Takes away our credibility when we waste our time on stuff like this

Exactly. This is why we're running out. I also recently saw a flight attendant passing them out to the entire first class cabin. Not a bad gesture, but very wasteful.

...and not the fault of the company at all. Blame management for what they are actually doing wrong. No need to make up garbage like this.

The other way to keep the work place safe is to precisely follow the instructions printed on the Sani-com Wipes!

First leg: no sanicoms. Told ops and they never ran any out.

So why did you leave? No wipes, no push.
