Any chance the FAA will allow more time to conduct a 61.58 type rating renewal? I have my Citation recurrent in Flight Safety Long Beach, California scheduled in a couple weeks ..... don't see how that will happen now :/

it’s my understanding if your landing current your ok, now the insurance carrier may not like that your not 12 month current. I could be wrong but part 91 the FAA doesn’t mandate recurrent

Find another FSI center that is open.

FSI LGB closed for new class starts until at least April 6. I would lay odds that will be extended further into April.

The FAA has not given relief on 61.58 checks yet. They did on 135 checks so there is hope they will for 61.58 also, but as mentioned above nobody knows if the insurance companies will honor that as well.

Give CAE a call. They’re still open for business.

FSI is still open as an “essential business.”
