They’re honestly probably doing you a favor. There’s really only one chief pilot in HQ. All the rest are essentially assistants or managers with very limited power. You’re likely used to being a chief in the traditional sense rather than constantly flying the line too.

a base chief pilot told someone to fly without the fire light he said quote you can just use the ITT's to tell if there is an engine fire. and i dont care if im outting this guy on a public forum. Does that give you an idea about how this operation is run?

not a shocker, him and Mike Kopp the DO don’t get along. That being said not many people get along with the DO.

Also, they make it seem like they are a netjets or flexjet only to find out in training they don’t own any airplanes and the owner of your specific airplane is really who you work for. The DO is a joke, and 2 of the 3 chief pilots are highly unliked. No standardization in the flying, no line checks/stands checks which makes it really difficult if you’re flying with someone who is way less than par. Other than that, there are some good people in Flight coordination and the pay is decent.
