ORD-DCA is a pretty easy commute.

Pretty much large city east of DFW is easy to the DC Metro area, though depending on the market your best bets might be IAD, BWI or DCA. Pretty much any large city period is easy to the NYC Metro area, but once again, depends on where you're coming from. Do you have someplace specific in mind?

A commute to DC or NYC will be much easier if you are starting east of the Mississippi River unless you are in a city with an airline hub.

I drive Philly to JFK.....I guess I could always take a flight, faster to drive though

DCA-LGA, LGA-DCA flights every hour on DAL and US. The commute won't kill you but the cost of living will.

So far as I'm concerned, NOTHING is a "good" commute.

DTW is super easy to NYC. Between NW, American, and Comair theres 40 some flights a day. Theres even a fedex flight at night goin the other way

What time does that FedEx flight leave? Is it JFK-DTW? And how can I get on it?

no, the fedex flight is from EWR to DTW. If you take the Air Train to Jamaica station, the the LIRR to Penn Station, the the Path train to EWR you'll be there in about 1:15. Go to fedex on airline pilot central and under jumpseat, they have a link with flight schedules and phone numbers. Its a really easy process. The flight leaves at 3:30 am and gets into DTW at around 5 ish
