You'll want to do the interview prep before you interview at a major. Lead-turn that when the time nears. While they might be able to schedule you for prep on Thurs for an interview next Monday you'll already have enough on your plate the week before, and you'll also want tome time to assimilate what you learn from the prep.

Thank you for the guidance, I am in touch with Checked and Set, and while they don't normally work with my target job(s) they are at least hooking me up with a Resume review. I figure even with the internal rec, I won't be hearing back from my desired carrier for a while so I will either get in a prep course or few interviews before then.

It depends what you want from resume creation, to resume re-write, LinkedIn, interview prep, etc.
I've done package deals, which has gotten me a discount on the individual costs.

I cannot recommend them any higher, they've been money on my career progression.
