My ID Travel is not allowing me to create a J/S listing for tomorrow, 5/25. Is Allegiant not allowing this?
Will a gate agent create a listing at the ticket counter?
I tried listing for the J/S on another airline and it worked. Anyone else having this problem?

I’ve had the same problem over the years. Their system goes down a lot. Not sure if it’s on G4’s end or IDTRAVEL side. Just keep checking every few hours. I’ve learned the hard way not to wait to the last minute to list bc the system may not be up when you need to book. Someone else will have to answer if you can list at the gate.

Do your best to catch the crew. The CA should be able to get you on.

i believe you can list at the gate just fine if my id travel doesn’t work. No restrictions on jumpseating...

I would definitely try to list at the ticket counter first, there might be a manager there and they usually have access to the Jumpseat forms there instead of at the gate(your guess is as good as mine).

Former GA here. Go to the ticket counter if you can, gives them time to find someone to figure it out. When they changed over the check-in system from AIS to G4+ it made listing JS more difficult. They may have to locate a more experienced agent to do it or call Customer Ops to do it for them.

They should be able to do it at the gate, and they're supposed to have the jumpseat form there too. However, many times the gate is only staffed with a single agent. If they're busy (or lazy), and the crew doesn't force the issue, you might not get on because they don't want to take the time to do it.

If your ever trying to jumpseat and the agent doesn’t give you the time of day see if you can wave down the crew. If not and you still don’t get on take the issue up with your union and reports will made. It’s not acceptable to leave JSers behind.

Fellow G4 pilots, DO THE WALK!

Thanks for all the replies. I was able to list at the ticket counter with very little problem. The first agent wasn't sure how to do it, she called another agent over who completed it with ease.
As always, great experience on board!

Just had that happen. MyID said it was down on the G4 end and I couldn’t list. Gate agent said there wasn’t time.

In the gate agents defense, I was cutting it close trying to get on, 17 minutes prior to departure, but there wasn’t another soul in that wing of the terminal. Not going to make an issue about it so no details given, just bringing it up.
