Does anyone here have experience with International Youth Exchange?

The program seems pretty simple, matching teens from airline families to do summer exchanges.

Just curious if anyone here has had any negative experiences or has any advice on the matter.

No personal experience but I did a trip with a guy who had been part of the exchange for a few years and spoke very highly of it. Not only did his kids do the exchanges but he’d gained friends in other countries, at other airlines and the whole family visited them during his yearly vacations.
