Quote: I'm amazed so many guys have gotten it already. In my state they don't even have essential workers anymore. After first responders/teachers/elderly we're distributing all based on age, and at the rate it's going, I don't qualify for a vaccine until May, and probably won't even be able to schedule one until mid summer at the earliest.
In my state (Texas), you can get it if you’re over 18 (or is it 17?) and have one of the CDC’s defined high risk conditions. One of those is a BMI 30 or greater. A lot of Texans have a BMI 30 or greater. Just sayn’.

As far as other reasons goes, various state stuff I read recently (sorry, didn’t keep the link from when I read it) indicated some states are grouping transportation workers into group 1b and are doing 1b now (I think CDC has transportation workers in 1c though, certainly lower priority than 1b).

And I’m sure there are other reasons that people on APC can qualify right now. Just some I’ve noticed.

Second shot of Pfizer a few days ago, fist one was fine, second one was a doozy. Out of commission for a full day and a half and I don’t get sick easily so I wonder if I’m more susceptible to covid. I didn’t take Tylenol until midway through the second day which was a mistake cause I felt way better after. Start dosing Tylenol right away and follow the dosages for at least 48 hours. Should help dramatically.

A robust immune response is a good thing. Might mean that you would have been less susceptible to covid.

Quote: Does anyone recommend taking all three vaccines now that they are proven and effective? I’m looking at my schedule, thinking one of them on a Tuesday, another on a Thursday, etc. Is anyone spacing them out like this?
Even though you are joking, you have three choices, all three target different cells for the adaptive immune response. The nanoparticles are so precise, they can be formulated to only enter 1 specific cell type, on the other hand, the viral vector sort of goes all over the place. There should be no cross reactivity between vaccines, although tests are being conducted now.

Immunogenicity of your choices:

Quote: Nope. I have zero faith in big pharma, based on their track record of absolutely awful lies and deceit. Greed is in the driver’s seat. I also don’t believe this virus started by accident. I think this very well may be a case of the people who created the problem, selling the cure. Also something big pharma has been responsible for in the past. Call me a conspiracy theorist all you want, you won’t change my mind. There is too much evidence that is stacked against them.

Shot 2 went well yesterday. This afternoon I got that “I’m getting sick ache” in my lower back. A little Advil and all good so far..

Are any of you getting the vaccine in the state you are based, rather than the state you live in? Do you have to prove residency or can you just show your company ID to prove you're based there? State I live in is slower than molasses, whereas the one I'm based in is trucking along. Thanks.

You should be able to go to any state, if you're in their current tier. I haven't heard of any states excluding non-residents. Trying to document and adjudicate employment and residency in any great detail isn't something they have time to fool with.

To be safe, in your domicile state, just bring something that shows you work there.
