RAH interview process

Hello all,

Well, it's finally time for me to apply to Republic. I've been perusing gouges and forums for years to research it while I completed my Masters, but I'm done with that now and the time is finally here. I've got a few questions though.

1. Did most of you that are already there get someone to walk in your resume, or just post online and they contact you? I've got several good friends up there that could do that, but what is preferred?

2. I'm assuming they send you an email regarding all the paperwork you need at the time of interview? I was thinking about going and picking up my driving record today, but was unsure how many years back they need. Is the FCC permit required?

3. Lastly, my logbook is not the nicest in the world...all the numbers are accurate, but alot of scribbles and rewrites. Would they accept a printout from an electronic version, or just want the original?

Any info would be greatly appreciated. Glad to be moving on

2. They will tell you in advance what to bring, but some of the stuff takes weeks to get a hold of so start now. Do a search there was a thread (last year?) that listed all the stuff you might need.

3. Accuracy is most important...in fact they would probably be suspicious of a "perfect" paper logbook. Since you are entry level they will want to see all of your endorsements, so you'll definately need the real book. It might not hurt to bring the printout too, in case they want to analyse your flight time.

I brought my logbook pro printout. I had my originals, but after I handed them the LBP printout, they didn't want my originals. They didn't even look for endorsements in my interview.

I went to the job fair in ATL. I was interviewed there and offered the job. I had my application on the website for about a month prior, got the erroneous F-U email, but never an interview. Seems like its a crap shoot as to when you get a call unless you are prior 121. I was hesitant about going to the job fair originally, but it really was the most efficient way to get your foot in the door.
