Default Training Delays?

How far out are your class dates? My nephew’s best friend is about to hit his numbers and wants to (eventually) be based in ATL. I am trying to steer him to 9E vs OO. But OO came to his school and fed him some crack flavored kool-aid.

I'd like to bounce a question off you guys here. Everyone in my unit says skip the regionals, the regionals arent a good place etc I have an option of going to iAero flying 73's and "skipping" the regionals. Really just looking at advice on whether this is a good idea or bad idea in terms of long term career choices. I want to end up at Delta long term.

Well - if you go to EDV you will eventually contractually get to Delta. It’s likely going to take 5 years or more, but it will happen.

If you go to XYZ competitor, you will have to leverage your options to get a interview and get hired, but it’s not guaranteed.

So it comes down to:
1) Does it absolutely have to be DAL?
2) Are you much of a betting man?

If yes and no, Endeavor. You will eventually get there.

If you said no and yes, go somewhere else.

There is much better options than regionals right now. That’s my two cents.

How are the reserve lines built? Typical four days on then two or three off or does it vary?

11 days off, minimum 2 in a row, but pilot can waive to allow single day off. You'll have 3-6 days working in a row unless you are long call and bid for more than that.

Correct, sorry for my typo and lack of proofreading before hitting post.

The latest vacancy shows the same ratio for FOs. As of now, there will be only 8 DEC slots, all 900.

DECs can expect CVG, maybe NYC.
900 FOs can expect CVG or NYC.
200 FOs can expect DTW or MSP.
