TIA
Got the assessment email Monday. I only got contact info from one other person there. They haven’t heard anything.

It’s not really new. Before they transitioned to the current system, that same Delta pilot could simply send an internal email triggering a guaranteed app review.

it’s just the method that has changed.

I went to the expo on May 3 (AM session) and got my assessment invite just a couple of days ago.

Have you already taken it? Just wondering how long to hear back usually. If it’s always the 7 days or sooner.

Not yet, there’s a couple of modules that I’d like to get better at as I did sign up for cut-e assessment prep. I’ll probably take it Monday.

Default Group Chats for Interviewees

Is it typical for interviewees to create group chats before their interview date? I have a scheduled interview in early August, just seeing if there might be a group chat that’s been created for folks interviewing here soon

That is great to hear, thanks for sharing! I’ll pass it along.

Any and all opinions are welcome and appreciated:

Im interviewing soon, currently an Envoy CA living in CID.

My current commute to ORD has 7-8 options a day, but DL flies 2x daily to MSP and now 1x daily to ATL and DTW from my airport.

What base should I hope to get at DL? Is it reasonable to two-leg through ORD to commute somewhere? What is DL’s commuter policy like regarding other airlines? Just having a hard time picturing how I’m going to do this.

ORD is by far the easiest commute for me, would the virtual basing make ORD a possibility?

What are the flights like to NYC?

Normally our commute policy is that you need two commute options, with the second option being on Delta or on Delta Connection. If you don’t make your first option you can call and have them book you positive space on your second option.

We do not have virtual basing, so strike that from your mind.

Good luck.

and the frequency. Didn’t it used to be DL pilots could only give one silver bullet every 12 months? Now I can write as many LORs as I want and each one triggers an app review.
