Really good friend of mine just left, jets were broken a lot and he was only flying 10 hours a month, having to drive to St Augustine instead of flying because “it’s cheaper” so much for home-based.

Do you still have to report in for duty if the jet is broken?

I sure hope it was a rental car.
Any other intel would be appreciated. Currently on the hunt for a new job and like others, the stated first year pay is attractive. But if the other side of the shiny penny is covered in dog sh!# then life is too short…….
way too many other options available in todays market. .

Not trying to be flip here, but have you considered the regionals with their much higher pay and faster movement due to legacy growth? Endeavor is a direct pipeline to Delta after a few years and may eventually be stapled onto Delta….

Exclamation Honda Jet - Single Pilot Operations Certified

Interestingly enough, if you wanted to take a few moments and read this from Business Insider? This Honda Jet is certified for single pilot operations. However, this article says Volato, Inc. is using TWO pilots by default though. Generally speaking the jet seats 4 passengers with optional 6 total. One occupying the co-pilot's seat and one seated onto the toilet seated cushion. Take a look. They maybe onto something here. Not saying I agree with it, but... The future of the piloting job is evolving?
