It's been a huge shift. Passengers being happy and cheerful, whut? Yeah. Nothing but smiling faces I've seen since. Heck, we were boarding the other day, a group of women, one was celebrating their birthday, word spread and the whole plane sang happy birthday and cheered. Glad to see civility and good vibes aren't goners.

So glad this is gone. Traveling to Hawaii in a couple weeks and was not looking forward to the face diaper.

Serious question: are they actually trying to mandate masks again now, or are they just arguing the point to preserve executive branch (ie CDC) future authorities?

Given the track record, it’s difficult to even support them on that.

Had they given their OPINION and ADVICE as it matured, with acknowledgement of the uncertainties as they gave it, they would not have lost the credibility they HAVE lost. The loss of credibility will handicap them in the future regardless of the outcome of the court case. Legal or not, less people will comply with any future directives.

This proceeding stems from their court actions immediately following Judge Mizelle vacating the rule back in April. The administration has been fighting this continuously since then. And of course if the decision was reversed they would gladly impose mandates in air travel any time they felt like it.

Arguing out of spite because it was not only a Trump appointed judge, she was also from the State of Florida, and Desantis commended her.

Biden, being the great unifier that he is, just can't stand that.

I wonder if they'll atleast follow science and try to reinstate N95's, form fitted specifically for each individual and changed every few hours, this time. Or are they still on the 10% effective, "not for viruses" right on the box, lil' blue ones.

There are few people dumber than those doing the mask thing.... outside, in their car, leopard print, matching to their wardrobe. I refuse to even carry on a conversation with them in airports. And I fly out West. That's alot of conversations I get to avoid.
