You're kidding right? How bout you nut up and ask one to move the interview date! I swear, how do some of you conduct your lives without advice on every little aspect.

Just call the HR department and tell them you need a ticket from IAH to IND. They'll swing it. Did it for me.

Aren't you on an LOA from Comair right now?

Just change flights dude! Tell them what YOU can do. That's commandability - remember, they're hiring you as a Captain.

Seriously just call Mrs. Bannister and they will give you a ticket from your other location. Do not call the travel department because they won't work with anyone who isn't already hired.... Actually they don't really work with anyone in general.

This pilot shortage is really going to end up turning this profession into a complete joke. Its bad enough that there are these 500 hour FO's being hired. There is just no way that they can have half a clue as to flying transport catagory aircraft. They havent paid the dues that are necessary to give them the experience to do the job properly. Then they ***** and complain once they are working at the job that they want to be upgraded within 18 months. It is just sad where the industry is headed.

I'm sorry, if you cant figure out how to get from one city to another for the interview then you are in serious trouble as a professional pilot. It really shows a complete lack of command authority. That just wont cut it.
