KLM issuing new shares

I think we own about 6% of KLM. How much more money do we have to send overseas, just to maintain our ownership stake? It's all going to pay off ferign debt anyways, do we'd basically just be handing money to another government.

According to the above article, Delta won't be sending any more money overseas, and won't be maintaining it's ownership stake either, which will become 2.9% of AFKL Holdings, after the deal.

Oh, that's good I guess. If that's true, then at least in this instance they're not being hypocritical. I don't necessarily mind big D owning parts of their partners, it's just maddening when they send money that way but say they can't afford to give us our asks in negotiations.

Also, I sure wish we could edit our previous posts after a bit...amateur hour on my spelling in that first post.

Probably should start a new thread but...

Delta now owns 20% of the "new" LATAM. Qatar, Delta, and Costa Verde executed their backstop agreement so we picked up 10% more shares and are now right back where we started at 20% total of LATAM.
