Default Formation Flying - other than fighters

A while back I started a photo thread on High Altitude Reconnaissance http://www.airlinepilotforums.com/sh...ad.php?t=11610

Wasn't sure if it belonged there or in military. Here's a stab at another - formations of other than fighters. Used to fly UC-123s in Vietnam. Photo attached.

Aye, does doing AR count? At McConnell we had the receiver capable 135s, so I got to get behind other folks from the wing and have them reach out and touch me.

Man, that almost sounds dirty, STS.

Low level (50-100 ft) formation spray operations with F-4S dropping CBU-2 along side to keep the bad guy's heads down. The wing tops have an orange stripe so the fighters could see us. Note the lead airplane diving down into the valley with six more (we are #3) to follow.

Yes they are Dowty R391s. Its a six blade fiberglass prop with an aluminum leading edge.
