Looking for any and all input on lens replacement. Specifically, anyone that has had multifocal lens replacement option. If so, any complications long term such as halo or glare issues?

Had mine done about 5 years ago. Print up the form on the FAA website, have the Dr fill out and sign it. Bring it with you to your next medical, give it to the AME, and that’s it. I chose to have distant vision corrected. The doctor did not recommend multi focal lenses for people who work at night.

Best wishes!

I believe you are correct but wanted the FAA policy clearly spelled out for those NOT retired. To have to redo one or both lens implants due to a misunderstanding would be tragic.

Yeah, that is very true!
