I did not say "no, big big no" to the offer Mr. Isom put out. I didn't say yes or no. If you'd like my opinion, then I will say that I don't think we will be voting on the offer Mr. Isom put out.

Did I say that either of us was "offended" by the LTD offer? I said that, generally, younger pilots don't value things such as LTD as much as older one do. Your initial comments about being able to buy it seemed to back that up, then you changed the narrative. Personally, I'm not offended by the offer, it's just business. I'm curious about the company's intent, because I'm not sure they want us to take their offer.
I did misquote you someone else said no, big big no.

I was shocked you didn’t pick QOL as your 1st, 2nd or 3rd item you want improved. I had no idea being home with family more would not make anyones top 3.

450knotoffice jumped right in and threw me on defense for being shocked as though I don’t support your items.

I went down a rabbit hole about buying a policy because it shows your cost are probably 5-10 times higher to buy a LTD plan. Having a group plan helps socialize the cost down.

Therefore LTD baked into the contract benefits older guys 5 fold. I never said I don’t agree with it, but it is a taking a larger bite of the apple.

When questions are posed as Do you care about pilots on LTD? It appears to be not acknowledging that you are actually asking:

Do you support a benefit that is 5 times disproportional to someone else?

All of your top 3 items are 5-10 times disproportional to older pilots than younger ones. It is much more than just a preference over QOL items. There is a bonafide mathematical 5:1 yield for those items.

These items are commonly billed as “equal” for everyone, but the private policy rates show that is BS. It is way cheaper for a young person.

I was originally in actual shock QOL didn’t make your top 3, but the fantastic 5:1 yield helps it make since.

Begs the question if a change in union is going to fix the problem. New name tag ain't do much good if you got the same old d-bags "leading" the group.

You'd probably see some change over. Some can be quite provincial when it comes to stuff like this. When DAL flushed their whole team in 2015, some refused to play because "their" team was no longer in charge, and that was essentially the same organization.
