I travel overseas quite often so I use several VPNs. I noticed I can’t access this site (airlinepilotforums dot com) using Express VPN but am able to do it when I use other, less successful VPNs.

I say less successful because in China and some other censor-prone countries most VPNs don’t work very well whereas Express VPN typically works wonders in those countries. Any idea why I can’t access APC using it???

Why would APC make things more difficult for those of us who extensively travel overseas?

Try to ask the experts on this subject.

Sites like APC have a lot of automated spam prevention, and VPN's can often trigger that.

I don't think using a VPN will get you blocked in all cases, but if the VPN or address in use has a history of malign behavior the automation will likely block it.

I have the same issue. Our corp pilot shared computers run VPNs. I notice those computers seems to get booted most often. Thanks for the explanation.
