There are still a lot of data loaders using floppy disks for FMC loads. A maintenance issue that comes up when doing the loads is that of a dirty data loader, which is addressed by a cleaning disk. Those kits used to be plentiful. Not so much, now.

A long time ago, someone told me that the FAA (via ATC) was the largest consumer of vacuum tubes.

I still have new technology, Hollerith (aka punch) cards, used for programming computers, in my storage boxes at home. I remember analog computers with jumpers on a plug board.

Haha, I played with punch cards at my Dad's office when I was a little kid. I think I still have some of the larger floppy disks from HS and college in a closet.

We still use whiteout on the FMC. Pen and ink updating.

Just get time and initials.
