Cool RTAG Convention 2022 Fort Worth, TX

Hey all,

I realize that this is late notice, but sitting here in Ft. Worth and looking at this Forum, I realized that there were no threads about the 2022 RTAG Convention (Oct. 22-23) here at the Ft. Worth Convention Center. It’s going to be big, but not so big that you won’t have time to talk to everyone. I ran into one of AA’s Recruiters here and it sounds like most of the Legacies will be here. I’ve gotten 2 jobs from these type of events, including one that I decided to go to last minute when my trip finished.

Good luck and give it a try if you are in town and looking for a job.

Hmmmmm. So are you there:

1) As a recruiter
2) Looking for a new job
3) Because you heard they had good barbecue
4) All of the above

Inquiring minds want to know…. 😂

As a Recruiter, LOL! You know that I am a kept man, and this gig is just too good for me and my family to start again elsewhere. But if I was going to fly another business jet, I know who to ask for a Letter of Recommendation….

A buddy of mine got a CJO from AA on the spot today. Mil rotor type with less than 100 hours at OO. Great time to be a pilot…

Anyone know how long they take to get back to you if no same day CJO?

I watched a good portion of the convention yesterday, including Kit Darby's analysis (excellent, imo), Frontier, Delta and United. Inreally wish I had been able to attend but my whole family is caught up in this RSV outbreak with high fevers, etc. I plan to attend next year.

RTAG was a great time, can’t wait for next years location announcement. By then I will be looking at airlines to apply to. This year I was simply networking and getting my feet wet.

Anyone going to the RTAG 2023 event in Fort Worth? Seems like it should be a good place to get some face time with some legacy airlines and network a little.

Not looking for a job but I thought it would be interesting to see the presentations as I do work with a bunch of folks looking to advance their careers. But as I read it it if you’re not military it’s $100? I’ll just get some BBQ.
