JB speculates pilot incap, seems plausible. Not sure if they'll go to the trouble to access the wreckage on the ocean floor in the case of a private plane.

JB did an update. One of his viewers was checking the ADS-B data and the altitude alerter was set to zero by mistake. I don't think JB has put this on YT yet but he had it on Patreon.

But there was some sort of attempt to level off, and the descent rate was reasonable.
